AWT (Air World Travel) was founded in 2003. it is 100% private and commercial registered under the commercial laws of Brazil. The headquarter was established in São Paulo, the largest business center in South America, providing high quality services to airlines and the travel industry in general.
In 2009 already consolidated in Brazil, it began its expansion in Latin America, registered under the legislation of each country. Opening offices in Argentina and Uruguay.
In 2011 inaugurated offices in Ecuador and Paraguay and Peru. Later in 2012, in Panama (the first country in AWT in Central America), Venezuela, Miami (United States) and the creation of the AWT HKG (joint venture with Air Express Ldt . HKG)
In 2013 we started activities in the field of
cargo, in joint venture with ATC Aviation Services. In 2014 came the opening of the freight office in São Paulo (Brazil); Cali and Bogota, in Colombia; New York, in the United States and also the creation of the International Call Center.
2015 was a successful year with the opening of Cargo offices in Asuncion (Paraguay), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Caracas (Venezuela), Quito (Ecuador) and Montevideo (Uruguay).
2016, the year is loaded with positive forecast for our organization. It started on the right foot with the opening of the office in Bolivia, which significantly strengthens our presence and further expands our range in the market. Also the launch of AWT Airways scheduled for the second half of this year.
